The Lorenly AI assistant

The AI assistant is a chat bubble for your booking page and website. It answers visitors' questions using your business information, day and night, and can book appointments for them in the chat.

Set it up in Settings → AI Assistant↗. The page walks you through seven numbered steps. If the page shows a lock, your plan does not include the AI chatbot.

Set it up#

1. Turn the assistant on. A small chat bubble appears on your booking page.
2. Choose your AI provider. The assistant uses your own AI account, so usage is billed to you by that provider and you stay in control.
3. Paste your key. Follow Get a key to create one with your provider, paste it and Test it. The key is stored securely and never shown again.
4. Make it yours. Set the first message visitors see, the rotating attention bubble, the colour and position of the bubble, and optional style instructions. Switch on Let visitors book through the chat to let it check live availability and book. Services that need a deposit get a secure payment link.
5. Add your own info. Your services, prices and hours are already known. Add notes, upload a file or fetch a web page for anything else visitors ask about, such as parking or your cancellation policy.
6. Protect your budget. Set a maximum number of messages per month and, if you like, the websites it may answer on.
7. Add it to your own website. Copy the one-line code and paste it before the closing body tag of your site.

Try your assistant lets you chat with it privately using your real settings, even while it is switched off. The page also shows this month's activity.
