De LetselSchadePsychologen is a partnership in Dordrecht that provides psychological support to people with psychological complaints after a traffic or workplace accident. People with complaints following a medical error can also receive support.

Support

Support focuses, among other things, on acceptance, reducing anxiety, coping with pain complaints and regaining quality of life. Where applicable, attention is also given to returning to work.

Approach

After registration and approval from the liable insurer, an intake meeting takes place. A proposal for a support programme is then prepared; the programme starts after approval. Once it is completed, a report is prepared for the parties involved.

Practical information

Sessions can take place at the client's home, at the psychologist's practice or online by video call. A partner may attend sessions; the client's representative may also join the intake meeting.

About the psychologists

The affiliated psychologists have university degrees. Some have also completed training to become a Registerpsycholoog NIP / Arbeid en Gezondheid (NIP-registered psychologist in work and health) or completed another specialisation. The partnership is affiliated with the NIP (Dutch Institute of Psychologists).
