Approach

Parents or others involved can get in touch for an informal introductory meeting. An intake session follows; the length of therapy depends on the reason for seeking help and the child’s development.

Play therapy

Play therapy is intended for children aged approximately 4 to 14. Play and movement are a natural language through which children can process experiences and practise new ways of coping.

Affect-regulation creative arts therapy

This therapy focuses on self-regulation. Parents, caregivers and teachers are actively involved; the therapy is also offered to groups of children.

Reimbursement

Some health insurers contribute towards the cost of play therapy, usually through supplementary insurance.
