Gift cards are bought by people who are not your clients yet, often at the last minute. Some want to forward a link, others want something to put under the tree. Beauty Art Pro lets the buyer choose, and sells a range of fixed values plus a card where the buyer types the amount.
The setup at Beauty Art Pro
- Seven gift cards on public sale at fixed values, plus one where the buyer chooses the amount.
- Gift card delivery is set to let the buyer choose online or mailed.
- Cards are valid for 365 days, and a partial use leaves the rest on the card.
- Buyers pick a card design with a live preview and can add a personal note.
- Gift card balances brought over from the previous booking tool were checked one by one before the switch.
Set it up in Lorenly
- Go to Packages & gift cards and choose New.
- Under Kind, pick Gift card, then enter a Title, the Price and the Face value.
- For an open amount, tick Client chooses the amount and set the minimum and maximum.
- Set the Access to Public and the Validity (days), then choose Create package.
- In the Gift card delivery card, choose Let the buyer choose online or mailed.
- For mailed cards, open Package purchases, use the To ship filter, post the paid cards and choose Mark shipped.
What the buyer sees
On your public profile, the buyer picks a card, a design and, for a mailed card, the recipient's name and address. They pay online, and the confirmation says how and where the card will arrive. The recipient uses the code at the payment step when booking, and what is left stays on the card.
