Gaia Dietitians Practice is a dietitian practice in Veenendaal. The team provides nutrition support in a range of areas, including allergies and intolerances, intestinal complaints, eating behaviour and oncology. Appointments are available at four locations, online and through home visits.

Approach

During an introductory appointment, the client and dietitian discuss the situation, wishes and goals. Together they consider which approach is suitable and aimed at a lasting effect over the long term.

Team

The team consists of dietitians with different areas of focus. Support includes nutrition advice and personal guidance.

The practice has four locations in Veenendaal. Home visits and digital appointments are available; evening consultation hours and Saturday appointments are also possible.

Reimbursement and practical information

Dietitian care is reimbursed for up to three hours through the basic health insurance, subject to the deductible. Children under 18 do not pay a deductible; some supplementary insurance policies provide additional reimbursement. The practice has contracts with health insurers.

• A referral from the GP is generally not required; some insurers are an exception.
• For type 2 diabetes, COPD and CVRM (Dutch cardiovascular risk management), care may be fully reimbursed through the basic health insurance under integrated care, without a deductible.
