De Nieuwe Praktijk is a psychotherapy practice in Rotterdam. The practice offers psychotherapy for psychological complaints and problems, in person and sometimes online via video calls.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy consists of conversations with a psychotherapist and focuses on complex problems, longer-lasting complaints and long-standing dysfunctional patterns. The aim is to reduce complaints or make them easier to manage.

Group therapy

A new group schema therapy course starts each autumn. The group meets 22 times and uses experiential exercises.

Approach

After registration, when a place is available, an introductory meeting and an intake take place. The client and practitioner then draw up a treatment plan together and evaluate it regularly.

Online support

Some treatment sessions can take place online via video calls. The practice also uses the Therapieland e-health platform; the practitioner discusses whether this is part of the treatment.

Practical information

The practice is on the first floor and can only be reached by stairs. The location is accessible by trams 25, 8 and 7; paid parking is available in the area.
