Oefenruimte voor Yoga offers Critical Alignment Yoga and therapy classes in Haarlem. The classes combine yoga postures with back exercises and focus on relaxation, technique and breathing.

Critical Alignment classes

The regular classes use props and yoga postures to relax muscles and experience greater freedom of movement. The pace is generally calm; some postures can be intensive.

Therapy class and intake

The Critical Alignment therapy class explores patterns of complaints and movement restrictions. It is preceded by an individual intake session; props are used in class, with extra support.

Approach

The method uses relaxation as a starting point for movement and strength. Props are available in class, such as strips, mats, small arches, blocks and headstand benches.

Practical information

You can sign up in advance by phone or email. Classes are held in the studio; joining via Zoom is possible for the Monday morning class.
