Haptotherapy helps people regain balance between thinking, feeling and doing. Treatment combines bodily experiences, exercises and conversations.

Treatment and approach

A treatment lasts 45 to 60 minutes and takes place by appointment. The intake phase usually consists of three to five appointments; the frequency afterwards is decided together.

Pregnancy and relationships

The practice supports couples during pregnancy and people with relationship problems at home or at work.

About the haptotherapist

Yvonne Poessé has worked as a haptotherapist at De Brandemaat practice since 2010. Previously, she worked for over twenty years as a physiotherapist in care for people with intellectual disabilities and was a pain consultant.
