Approach

Before a grooming session, the coat's condition and treatment plan are discussed together. In principle, the dog is groomed to the breed standard; changes can be made by agreement.

• The dog should be walked beforehand.
• The coat's condition is assessed on arrival.
• If anything is found that will take extra time, you will first be contacted by phone about any possible price change.
• A sick dog will not be groomed.
• If fleas are found, the dog will be treated; extra costs will be charged for this.

Brushing subscriptions

A subscription consists of five paid brushing sessions and a sixth free session. All six sessions must be used within a year.

• Standard brushing subscription: brushing through the coat to keep it free of tangles.
• Wash-and-brush subscription: washing, drying and brushing through the coat.

Getting puppies used to grooming

During the puppy socialisation treatment, the puppy gradually gets to know the grooming salon and grooming procedures over several visits. The treatment includes brushing, nail trimming and getting used to the water blaster.

• Exploring the salon and standing on the grooming table
• Brushing, trimming nails and clearing hair from around the eyes
• Trimming hair between the paw pads
• Getting used to the water blaster

Practical information

The grooming salon works by appointment only. Appointments can be made by phone or WhatsApp. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

• Keizerstraat 149, 2584 BD Den Haag
• If you cancel late, the full grooming session will be charged.
