About katten trimsalon Het Jagertje

Katten trimsalon Het Jagertje is a cat grooming salon in Den Haag. The salon offers cat- and coat-friendly grooming, with the cat’s wellbeing as its priority.

Approach

The treatment takes place without restraint and is aimed at causing as little stress as possible. Small mats are combed out painlessly; large mats and matted fur are clipped.

• The cat retains as much control as possible
• The cat is not washed
• Preventive clipping is done only for medical reasons
• De-shedding and hand-stripping are not offered

When to groom

An appointment can help when a cat cannot groom itself properly or needs extra help with coat care. This may apply to long-haired, semi-long-haired and short-haired cats, among others.

• Too much hair to groom itself
• Mats or matted fur caused, for example, by surgery, dental problems or rheumatism

The treatment

One person may be present during the treatment. The treatment lasts a maximum of 30 to 45 minutes; afterwards, the owner receives advice about coat care.

• Bring a blanket from home
• The cat can have a break during the treatment
• The treatment may be stopped if the cat can no longer be groomed

Practical information

The salon works by appointment only. You can make an appointment or request information via WhatsApp, email, phone or the contact form.
