Migrating from Booksy is straightforward
You don’t need a developer or a spreadsheet expert. Export a CSV from Booksy, upload it to Lorenly, check the column mapping, and import. This guide walks you through every step.
Step 1 · Export your data from Booksy
- 1In Booksy Biz, go to Customers.
- 2Open the list options and choose Export (CSV). If you don’t see it, Booksy support can email your customer export on request.
- 3Appointment history can be exported from the Calendar / Reports area where your plan allows it.
Step 2 · Import into Lorenly
- 1Open Lorenly and go to Settings → Import.
- 2Choose Booksy as your source system, then pick the data type you’re importing (clients, past bookings, or gift cards).
- 3Upload the CSV file you exported in Step 1.
- 4Lorenly auto-detects the columns. Review the mapping, fix any field that didn’t match using the drop-downs, and check the preview of the first rows.
- 5Click Import. Re-running is safe — clients dedupe on email and past bookings skip duplicates, so you can import in stages.

Frequently asked questions
Will my prices be converted to another currency?
No. Amounts import exactly as they were exported — we never convert currencies. Set the currency your clients see in Settings → Business info; it only changes the symbol, not the numbers.
Can I run the import more than once?
Yes. Imports are idempotent: clients update by email instead of duplicating, and past bookings skip rows that were already imported. You can import in stages or re-run safely.
What if a column isn’t recognised automatically?
Every field has a drop-down in the preview step. If a column wasn’t matched, just pick the right one before importing — and you’ll see a sample of the result first.
Is there a fee to migrate from Booksy?
No. Importing your clients, history and gift cards into Lorenly is free. You only pay for your plan once you’re up and running.
How long does it take?
Most salons are fully moved across in one sitting — export a few CSVs, upload, map, import. There’s no spreadsheet wrangling and no developer needed.
