BrainBiZ offers neuropsychological programmes and training in Zutphen. The guidance focuses on attention, sensory processing and stress and emotion regulation, for individuals and organisations.

Programmes

The programmes are intended for people who are struggling with stress, restlessness or overstimulation. Within basic mental healthcare (basis-GGZ), BrainBiZ combines conversations, e-health and exercises at home; treatment starts with an initial consultation and assessment.

Approach

BrainBiZ uses a conversation, questionnaires and an assessment to map how a person's brain responds to stimuli. The client then practises recognising signals, managing tension and recovery, and applying these skills in everyday life.

Reimbursement

A referral from a GP is required for a programme within basic mental healthcare (basis-GGZ). BrainBiZ has a contract with Achmea; private programmes can be paid for by the client.
