Cheval coaching and more offers specialist outpatient support and treatment in Zuid-Holland. The services include personal support, horse coaching and daytime activities, with tailored support for children, young people and adults.

Horse coaching

Daytime activities

Daytime activities are available with and without horses, in groups of up to six participants. Activities include caring for horses, practical work and maintenance.

Target group and service area

Cheval supports children, young people and adults with a range of challenges. Daytime activities are for adults with support needs, including people with autism and an IQ of 80 or higher.

Approach and funding

After registration, an intake meeting takes place and a care plan is drawn up together. Care can be funded through municipal contracts, PGB (personal budget), WLZ (Long-term Care Act), WMO (Social Support Act) or private payment; depending on the policy and insurance, part may be covered by health insurance.
