Since 2004, Ingrid van Heeswijk-Faase has been registered as a pelvic physiotherapist in the KNGF (Royal Dutch Society for Physical Therapy) quality register. She completed the Master’s programme in pelvic physiotherapy in 2007.

Reimbursement

Pelvic physiotherapy is generally reimbursed through supplementary insurance. The first nine treatments for urinary incontinence are reimbursed through the basic health insurance.
