Weekstartgezond is a dietitian practice with locations in Maassluis, Schiedam and Vlaardingen. The practice offers dietitian care, lifestyle programmes, exercise activities and therapy for weight and physical complaints.

Services

The practice provides nutrition advice and support for, among other things, stomach and intestinal complaints, type 2 diabetes, heart conditions, long-term (lung) COVID and oncology. It also offers lifestyle programmes, measurements and support for mental fitness.

Consultations and therapy

An intake appointment lasts 45 to 75 minutes and includes discussing the request for help, preparing a treatment plan and taking measurements. Follow-up consultations last 15 to 30 minutes. Brainspotting is available as a single session or as a package of three sessions.

Exercise activities

The weekly group class is a body workout focused on strength, fitness and vitality. The class is supervised and tailored to people with excess weight; no sports experience is needed.

• Maximum of 20 participants per class

Reimbursement and registration

A referral is not needed for an intake appointment. The practice is affiliated with ZEL integrated care; for type 2 diabetes, heart failure or COPD, reimbursement may be possible without drawing on the deductible.
