How it works

The first consultation lasts 60 minutes and follow-up consultations last 30 minutes. For a home visit, the dietitian comes to the client’s home if they cannot come to the practice.

Reimbursement and cancellations

Three hours of nutrition and dietary advice are reimbursed through the basic health insurance. An appointment must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid the no-show fee.

• Integrated care for COPD, cardiovascular disease or diabetes mellitus is not subject to the deductible.

Quality

The dietitians are registered in the Kwaliteitsregister voor Paramedici (Quality Register for Paramedical Professionals) and are members of the Nederlandse Vereniging van Diëtisten (Dutch Association of Dietitians).
