About Autentiek

AUTENTIEK provides Christian help, support, guidance and coaching for autism in Veenendaal. The organization guides young people and adults with autism and also supports people in their immediate surroundings.

Help and guidance

AUTENTIEK provides guidance with matters people encounter in life, with the aim of enabling them to function as independently as possible within their family, daily life and society. The guidance is tailored to each person and can be used throughout life.

• Community-based guidance

• Coaching and support by telephone, email, WhatsApp or SMS
• Central point of contact and coordination
• Support with applications for PGB (personal budget) and Wajong (Dutch disability benefit)

Support for people around them

People in their immediate surroundings also receive support. AUTENTIEK can explain autism and how people can deal with it, and provide guidance at an internship or at work.

Education

AUTENTIEK provides education about ASS (autism spectrum disorder) for schools, churches, businesses and individuals, and publishes the brochure ‘Autisme begrepen’.

Approach

The organization works from a Christian outlook on life and uses a guidance method it developed itself. People who are not Christian are also welcome as clients.
