Youz Utrecht is a child, youth and family outpatient clinic in Utrecht. The location provides specialist GGZ (Dutch mental health care) for children, young people and young adults up to age 25, Infant Mental Health and transcultural care.

The clinic takes a systemic approach and, where appropriate, involves people from the client’s surroundings and other care providers involved. Treatment can take place individually, in a group, online, part-time, as inpatient care, or at home or school.

Specialist teams

The IMH team provides diagnostics and treatment for young children and for pregnant people and/or partners who have concerns about the arrival of their baby. Its focus includes parent-child interaction, attachment and development.

An SGGZ referral (referral for specialist Dutch mental health care) is required to register. You can register using the online registration form, ZorgDomein or by phone.

The clinic accepts registrations from several regions. Specific registration routes apply for Utrecht-stad and Stichtse Vecht.

Practical information

The location is open on weekdays from 08:30 to 17:00 uur. If you cannot attend, Youz asks you to give at least 24 hours’ notice that an appointment will not go ahead; late cancellations may incur a charge.
