SamSam psychology practice is a small-scale practice in Utrecht for children, young people and parents. The practice offers treatment and support, ADHD treatment groups for women, and supervision for care professionals.

Treatment and support

In sessions, the practice uses solution-focused techniques, cognitive behavioural therapy, ACT and EMDR. The approach is systems-oriented and may involve parents, the family and school.

ADHD group for women

The group treatment consists of seven two-hour sessions every other week, plus two sessions for people close to participants. A referral to Specialist Mental Healthcare is required to take part, and an ADHD diagnosis must have been made.

Supervision

Individual supervision or supervision in a small group is available for fellow care professionals. This service is offered, among others, to people training to become a GZ psychologist (Dutch registered healthcare psychologist), on the K&J route at the NIP (Dutch Institute of Psychologists), or seeking (re)registration with the SKJ (Dutch Youth Quality Register).
