About Kien Remedial Teaching

Kien Remedial Teaching offers tailored pupil support in Utrecht. The support focuses on learning delays and learning difficulties in children and includes remedial teaching, tutoring and homework support.

Support

One-to-one support helps with reading, language and maths and is supplemented by homework support and CITO training. Attention is given to skills, structure, self-confidence and a positive self-image.

How it works

Support is individual and tailored to the pupil. Work focuses on goals with structure and support; where needed, there is consultation with parents, the school or the teacher.

• RT/tutoring/CITO training at the practice or at your location
• 10-lesson punch card
• Homework support from 60 minutes

Rates and lesson duration

A lesson hour lasts 40 minutes; homework support lasts at least an hour. Lessons are paid for in advance and remain valid for a maximum of six months after the invoice date, depending on time and space at the practice.

• RT/tutoring/CITO training: 5 lessons at the practice or at your location
• Homework support: 60, 90, 120 or 180 minutes

• Action plan
• Meeting at your location with parent(s)/school
• Phone conversation
• Preparation of a (transfer) report
• Putting together a homework pack during holidays

Location

The practice is at Rembrandtkade in Utrecht. Support at your location is also possible.
