Gewoon Zijn Coaching

About Gewoon Zijn Coaching

gewoon zijn coaching is a child coaching practice in Leidsche Rijn, Utrecht. The support is for children aged 8 to 12 who are struggling at home, at school or within themselves, with their parents involved.

Child coaching

The child coach works with care and without judgement. Over six sessions, the coach helps the child find words, images or movement for what is going on inside.

• Child coaching for children aged 8 to 12
• Parent conversation or family constellation with parent(s)

Programme

The programme includes six coaching sessions with the child and one parent conversation or family constellation. After each session, parents receive a report by email.

• 6 coaching sessions with the child, every two weeks
• 1 parent conversation or family constellation with parent(s)
• Session duration: 1 hour

Approach

The coach does not make diagnoses and is not an extension of the school. The support puts the child at the centre and involves the parent in understanding and supporting the child better.
