Dr. R. J. Filius, psychologist, is affiliated with ELIAGG, a network of independent GZ-psychologists (Dutch registered healthcare psychologists), psychotherapists and psychiatrists. In Uithoorn, he and a colleague lead an identity-strengthening psychotherapy group.

Psychotherapy group

The process-oriented group focuses on better understanding yourself and your relationships. Participants reflect on what contact with others brings up and how they respond to one another.

• Every Wednesday from 16:15 to 17:45, except during school holidays in the Central and Northern regions
• Participation for at least one year; the total duration varies
• Maximum of 8 participants
• New participants can join by arrangement

For participation

Participants are willing to take an active part and reflect on their own contribution. They also need to respect the group’s Christian identity.

• Motivated to invest at least one year in themselves and the quality of their relationships
• Available every Wednesday
• Open to feedback from others
• Have enough space to work on themselves

Practical information

The group meets at Eliagg in Uithoorn. Funding is through specialised GGZ (Dutch mental healthcare); a valid referral letter and a DSM-5 diagnosis are required for reimbursement.
