Hondgenoot

About Hondgenoot

Hondgenoot is a practice in Schalkhaar where a guide works with dogs to help people get to know themselves better and develop skills. The support focuses, among other things, on insecurity, fear of failure and fear of dogs.

Support with dogs

The dogs work as co-trainers in developing skills and dealing with everyday situations. Hondgenoot takes a positive approach.

• Self-confidence
• Talking to others more easily
• Dealing with fear of failure
• Speaking up for yourself

Fear of dogs

When someone is afraid of dogs, the first step is to look at what the fear is about and how it began.

Buddy dog

With the Buddy Hondgenoot programme, they explore together what help is needed and how the dog can provide that help. Support is also available with an official assistance dog, with certification through stichting Dutch Assistance Dogs (Dutch foundation Dutch Assistance Dogs).
