About Willem Twee studios

Willem Twee Studios is a workspace for electroacoustic music in ’s-Hertogenbosch. Composers, producers, musicians, music students and others interested can book studios, record their own sounds, and take courses and workshops there.

Studios

The studios consist of four rooms with historical electronic instruments, workspaces and a concert hall. The rooms can be connected via audio connections, UTP and coaxial cables.

• Studio 1: testing and measuring equipment and analog computing devices from the 1950s and 60s, plus tape recorders
• Studio 2: modular synthesizers and keyboard synthesizers from the 1970s and 80s
• Studio 3: five workstations with instruments and equipment from Studios 1 and 2
• Studio 4, the Toonzaal: concert hall for acoustic recordings with a Steinway grand piano and pipe organ
