Shiatsu Rotterdam is a practice on Katendrecht in Rotterdam. Louis Casteelen has been providing shiatsu treatments there since 1999, a Japanese form of massage that uses pressure on points on the body.

Shiatsu

Beforehand, the therapist and client discuss which complaints will be treated. The treatment lasts about 60 minutes and takes place on a tatami; the client wears only underwear.

Specialisations

The practice lists specialisations in knee problems, abdominal massage and concussion. For knee problems, Louis uses pressure points, among other techniques, and can offer tailored exercises to do at home.
