Approach

The process consists of an assessment phase, advice phase and treatment phase. Specialist GGZ (Dutch specialist mental healthcare) requires a referral from a GP or occupational physician.

The practice has contracts with all major health insurers. Care is covered by the basic health insurance; the costs count towards the deductible.

Ineke van Heemstra-Hegener has BIG registration (Dutch healthcare register) as a GZ psychologist (Dutch healthcare psychologist) and psychotherapist, and has been a certified mindfulness trainer since 2008.
