Engelen Osteopathie is an osteopathy practice with two locations in Rotterdam: Zuid and Kralingen. The osteopaths examine and treat using manual techniques and focus on conditions affecting muscles, joints and organs, among other things.

Osteopathy

The practice uses manual techniques to restore tissue mobility and stimulate the body's self-healing ability. Treatment begins with a thorough medical history and physical examination.

The practice treats a range of conditions, including sports injuries, headaches, stomach and intestinal problems, and conditions in babies and children.

Approach

After the examination, the osteopath draws up a treatment plan and discusses it with the patient. Consultations usually take place two to eight weeks apart; the plan is evaluated after three to five treatments.

Fees and reimbursement

Adults and children can book an initial consultation and follow-up consultation. Consultations are reimbursed in full or in part when the patient has supplementary insurance.
