RT Praktijk van den Dam offers remedial teaching for children in groups 3 to 8 inclusive of (special) primary education. Support takes place at school or at the practice in Lent.

Support

The practice offers temporary, intensive, tailored support for learning difficulties. Support focuses on enjoyment of learning, self-confidence and reflection, with alignment to the school’s teaching methods where possible.

Approach

The approach consists of an intake, diagnostic assessment, an action plan on request for maths and/or spelling, remedial teaching and reviews. Support takes place weekly for 12 weeks unless agreed otherwise; a session lasts 50 minutes.

Support can take place at school or at the practice in Lent. The practice works with parents and the school; support during school hours is possible if the school gives permission.

Practical information

Appointments can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance; after that, the appointment will be charged. Support is invoiced monthly in arrears and the invoice must be paid within 14 days.
