Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a Japanese massage technique based on traditional Chinese medicine. The treatment is given over clothing and lasts 60 minutes. Depending on the treatment approach, cupping and moxa may be added.

At the first treatment, the practitioner discusses the complaint and general health. This is followed by pulse, hara and tongue diagnosis, which are used to tailor the treatment approach and treatment.

Additional techniques

Cupping and moxa may be used during treatments. Moxa is intended to promote energy flow and circulation in the meridians; cupping may improve circulation and lymphatic circulation.
