Prolis is a youth care organization that supports and treats families, young people and children aged 0 through 23. The organization provides specialist care in Nijmegen and support at home, at school, during internships or in leisure activities.

Prolis takes a solution-focused approach and involves the family and their support network in the support provided. Care can take place where the need for help arises.

Who it is for

Support is intended for families, young people and children with social-emotional, psychosocial or psychiatric problems, or when the parent-child relationship is under strain. Prolis provides support with or without a diagnosis.

Approach

Before a care program begins, there is a no-obligation introductory meeting to see if it is a good fit. Support is tailored to each person; parents are asked to take an active part.

Practical information

Prolis offers appointments at home, including evenings and weekends, and says it can be reached within 24 hours. A referral or authorization through the local access point is required for youth care or Wmo (Dutch Social Support Act) support.
