About Hondenosteopaat Nijmegen

Hondenosteopaat Nijmegen offers osteopathic support for dogs in Nijmegen. Treatment focuses on relaxation, balance and the dog's natural ability to heal itself.

Osteopathy for dogs

The canine osteopath looks for where an imbalance is located or began. In consultation with the owner, relaxation is brought to areas where needed; the dog's needs guide the treatment.

Consultation

The first consultation includes an intake. At follow-up appointments, the dog's progress and any remaining complaints are discussed. A veterinarian must have declared the dog healthy. An appointment normally lasts 45 to 60 minutes.

For dogs

The support is intended for dogs of different ages and with a range of activities or support needs.

• Sporting dogs
• Household dogs
• Assistance and service dogs
• Show dogs
• Young dogs and puppies
• Very old dogs

Puppy check at breeder's home

For a puppy check, the canine osteopath visits a breeder at home. This appointment takes place between the birth and the puppy's departure to its new owner.

Additional support

The sessions complement regular veterinary medicine and do not replace that care. No medical diagnoses are made and no illnesses are treated. If in doubt, if symptoms of illness appear or if there are acute problems, contact a veterinarian.
