About Denkkracht Nijmegen

Denkkracht provides neuropsychological assessment and treatment for children and young people. Children from across the Netherlands can receive help with problems involving learning, thinking and doing.

Neuropsychological assessment

After registration, questionnaires and an intake interview map out the problems and functioning at home and at school. Sometimes neuropsychological testing follows to investigate strengths, areas of difficulty and possible causes of problems.

Treatments

Treatments focus on making use of strengths and managing areas of difficulty. Denkkracht also looks at how parents and the school can adapt the environment to the child’s needs.

For children and young people

Denkkracht treats children and young people with difficulties learning, concentrating and organising, including in connection with ADHD, autism, physical illness or an accident. Denkkracht’s services also include parents and professionals in health care and education.

Research and training

Denkkracht conducts scientific research and innovation and provides education and training for professionals. The Neuropsychological Assessment in Children and Young People course can also be delivered in-company.
