Sportschool Bushido Nieuwegein Allround-Selfdefence is a self-defence sports club in Nieuwegein for participants aged 7 and over. The training combines different martial arts and techniques, standing and on the ground.

Disciplines

Bushido combines different martial arts and budo weapon techniques (Japanese martial arts weapon techniques). The training covers self-defence standing and on the ground.

Youth training

Youth training focuses on confidence, learning about boundaries, and learning to defend themselves without deliberately hurting others.

Adult training

Adults practise standing and ground techniques and learn about budo weapons (Japanese martial arts weapons). There are also outdoor training sessions and activities during lessons.

Practical information

Training takes place on Mondays and Wednesdays on Dasseweide in Nieuwegein. A black gi (martial arts uniform) is required for lessons; equipment can be purchased from Bushido.
