Praktijk Vie is a practice for orthopedagogical and psychological support in Nieuwegein. The practice treats social and emotional concerns and supports children, teenagers, young adults and parents. Praktijk Vie is closed for an indefinite period due to leave.

Services

Praktijk Vie offers support with social and emotional concerns, problems resulting from autism or AD(H)D, bereavement and parenting questions. It also provides guidance with identity and relationship problems, and intelligence assessments.

Approach

Programmes start with an intake meeting and shared goals. Parents are involved in the treatment of children and teenagers. The practice combines cognitive behavioural therapy and systemic perspectives.

Reimbursement and fees

Youth care up to the age of eighteen is reimbursed through the contract with the Lekstroom region when there is a referral from a social team adviser. Care from the age of eighteen may be reimbursed through the basic health insurance policy via Caredate; relationship therapy is not reimbursed by the health insurer.
