About Release EMDR & Coaching

Release EMDR & Coaching offers EMDR and coaching in Maastricht to adults with single-incident trauma-related complaints. The support focuses on processing distressing experiences and working towards greater calm, confidence and control in daily life.

EMDR

EMDR is used for traumatic experiences and complaints such as anxiety, phobias, PTSD symptoms and stress related to distressing experiences. During a session, the client is distracted using, among other things, eye movements or sounds while thinking back to an event.

Coaching

Coaching explores strengths, qualities, patterns and beliefs, and works with goals. Sessions can also take place while walking in nature.

About the practitioner

Anouk Hesemans completed an HBO (higher professional education) degree in Social Work and a post-HBO qualification as a GP practice mental health support worker. She has experience in foster care, youth care and women's shelter services, and supports adults at two GP practices in Maastricht.
