About Kindercoaching Maastricht

Kindercoaching Maastricht offers coaching for children in Maastricht. Esther Slegers supports children with a specific concern through individual coaching sessions.

Coaching for children

Support addresses a range of concerns, including emotions, stress, fears, grief and sleep problems. After a written and in-person intake, Esther discusses the plan of action.

• Low self-esteem
• Overstimulation
• Difficulties regulating emotions
• Stress and performance anxiety
• Oversensitivity
• Difficulty falling asleep
• Grief and loss

How it works

Children come to the practice weekly for a one-hour session. Sessions are generally one-to-one and are reviewed after about four meetings.

• Walking
• Working with clay
• Drama
• Movement
• Family constellation
• Breathing exercises
• Rock and Water training

Support at school or BSO (out-of-school care)

When the concern also relates to school or BSO (out-of-school care), Esther can observe there and coach the teacher or internal support coordinator. At the family's request, she takes part in meetings about the child.
