About the pedicurist

The medical pedicurist is an editorial board member of Podopost and a theory instructor for NHA's basic pedicure and medical pedicure courses. She takes further training and refresher courses and is affiliated with ProVoet and ProCert.

Reimbursement

Preventive foot care may be partially covered by the basic health insurance for people at increased risk of foot ulcers. Medically necessary foot care is claimed through the podiatrist; the client pays for the non-medical part themselves.
