Praktijk Confido is a psychotherapy practice in Lunteren, on the edge of Luntersche Buurtbosch. The practice offers individual treatment for adults, learning therapy, supervision and consultation.

The practice offers integrative psychotherapy, combining different methods and tailoring them to the client. Treatment aims to reduce psychological symptoms or make them easier to manage.

Concerns

Adults aged 18 and over can seek treatment for a range of psychological concerns. The practice does not treat crisis situations, severe addiction problems, psychotic symptoms, or concerns where relationship or family problems need to be the focus.

Learning therapy and supervision

Learning therapy is available for work or training in mental health care and medicine. Supervision is available for training to become a GZ psychologist (Dutch registered healthcare psychologist), psychotherapist, clinical psychologist or psychiatrist; supervision for writing an N=1 or N=2 study is also available. Both can partly take place online.

Approach

Treatment begins with an introductory meeting and discussion of the situation, followed by diagnosis, treatment goals and the choice of a method. The practice regularly reviews progress. E-health can be part of treatment; sessions can also take place while walking or by video call.

Consultation

Referrers and other professionals can get in touch for consultation with colleagues, for example about a referral. Discussion of someone who is receiving or has received treatment takes place only with the client's consent.
