Approach

The physiotherapist starts with an intake interview and physical examination. At the end, advice and exercises are discussed, and a follow-up appointment can be scheduled.

Reimbursement

For a chronic indication, oedema physiotherapy is covered by the basic health insurance from the 21st treatment onwards. The first 20 treatments are paid for by the patient and/or covered by supplementary insurance.
