Warris Psychologie is the independent practice of a GZ-psycholoog (Dutch healthcare psychologist) who works with Praktijk de Aandacht in Leiden. The practice offers psychological assessment and treatment for adults.

Assessment and treatment

The practice treats a range of complaints and reasons for seeking help. Treatment options are individual or in an ACT group.

• Psychological assessment
• Individual treatment using cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and schema therapy (SFT)
• ACT group treatment, planned for January 2027

Reasons for seeking help

Clients can seek help for, among other things, mood complaints, anxiety, trauma-related complaints, grief, questions about identity and persistent physical complaints.

Approach

After an introductory meeting (intake), the reason for seeking help and possible treatment are discussed. Treatment focuses on safety, equality and openness in the relationship.

Reimbursement and cancellations

For registrations through Praktijk de Aandacht, assessment and treatment may be reimbursed as covered care from the basic health insurance package. The excess applies; cancellation is free up to 24 hours in advance.
