Griffioen Psychologie is a psychology practice in Leiden offering support and treatment within the Basic Mental Health Care (Dutch primary mental health care). The practice helps clients aged 18 and over with a range of mental health complaints.

Support and treatment

The practice offers psychological help to adults. The client and practitioner work together to find options and solutions that may improve the situation.

Approach

The practice aims to provide help as quickly as possible and keep treatments as short as possible, with the end agreed together. A referral letter is required if the client wishes to apply for reimbursement of treatment.

About the practitioner

Drs. M.A. Griffioen studied Clinical Psychology in Leiden and worked in England and at the GGZ (Dutch mental health care) in Delft. A psychologist in training usually also works at the practice, carrying out support tasks.
