Psychologenpraktijk Nijlan is a small psychology practice in Leeuwarden. The practice offers short-term help in basic mental healthcare (Dutch basic-GGZ) to adults with a range of psychological complaints.

The practice provides support with psychological complaints and problems. A short-term course consists of up to twelve sessions.

Types of therapy

The choice of therapy is discussed in advance. Different types of therapy can be combined to tailor treatment to the request for help.

How it works

The intake consists of the first two sessions. Complaints, wishes and a treatment plan are discussed together; treatment can also take place partly or entirely through E-health.

Reimbursement and appointments

A referral from the GP is required for treatment and reimbursement. According to the practice, insured care is fully reimbursed through the basic health insurance, subject to the deductible.

• An appointment can be planned after referral through the GP and a telephone consultation.
• A fee of € 50 may be charged for a missed appointment that was not cancelled in time.
