Dietistenpraktijk Lavina is a dietetics practice in Kapelle. The practice supports clients in changing their eating habits and lifestyle and in putting together a diet tailored to a specific condition.

Diet advice

The practice provides nutrition and diet advice for a range of questions and conditions. Individual wishes, needs and any limitations are taken into account.

• High blood pressure, high cholesterol and heart failure
• Diabetes mellitus and gestational diabetes

• Stomach and bowel conditions, including irritable bowel syndrome and Crohn's disease / ulcerative colitis
• Kidney conditions
• Gluten intolerance (coeliac disease) and cow's milk allergy
• Abnormal growth and/or weight curve in children
• Vegetarian diet
• Nutrition advice during pregnancy
• Tube feeding at home

Consultations

Dietary treatment consists of consultations at the practice or, if needed, at home. During the first consultation, an intake interview takes place and the dietitian prepares an individual dietary plan in consultation with the client. Follow-up consultations cover the nutrition advice and any difficulties.

Appointments

The practice works by appointment only. Appointments are available on Friday mornings and Tuesday evenings; early evening appointments can be made at the practice in Kapelle. A home consultation is also possible.

Referral and reimbursement

An appointment can be made with a referral from a GP or through direct access to dietetics (DTD). Part of the dietary advice is reimbursed under the basic health insurance; the practice has contracts with all health insurers.

Cancellation

If you are unable to attend, the practice asks you to cancel by telephone or email at least 24 hours in advance. For late cancellations, 75% of the consultation fee is charged; these costs are not reimbursed by the health insurer.
