Approach

After the intake, a speech and language assessment is followed by a discussion of the diagnosis and proposed treatment. Sessions are usually weekly; a session lasts 25 minutes on average, and for stuttering, 50 minutes is generally scheduled.

• A referral is welcome; without one, an initial Direct Access to Speech Therapy screening is carried out
• Treatment is evaluated regularly

• Young children with hesitant or stuttering speech

Practical information

Appointments must be cancelled by phone at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments cancelled later will be charged.
