About Mommy&C

Mommy&C is a practice in Hoofddorp for treatments addressing specific complaints and massages. Midwife Belinda provides care for women after a caesarean or vaginal birth, including ScarCare treatments and guidance.

ScarCare treatments

Caesarean scar treatment can begin two weeks after the operation. The approach is tailored to the client’s recovery, complaints and questions; afterwards, she receives exercises and tips for home.

Approach

The first appointment is an intake during which complaints, the birth and questions are discussed. This is followed by mobility assessment with exercises, a personalised treatment and instructions for home. Follow-up treatments are shorter.

About the practitioner

Belinda is the founder of Mommy&C, a midwife and a mother. Her own unplanned caesarean and experiences in midwifery care led her to undertake further training as a ScarCare practitioner.
