The Kindbehartiger brings children's wishes and needs to the attention of parents, caregivers and any relevant legal authorities. This can provide support during and after a separation and when restoring contact.

Parent guidance and parenting constellation

During conversations, parents receive practical tips and tools to support their child. A parenting constellation can provide insight into the source of a parenting issue.

Approach and fees

The programme begins with a no-obligation introductory meeting. After the intake, a programme lasting three to eight months follows, focusing on trust, treatment and completion.

Practical information

With a referral from the municipality or family doctor, the costs may be reimbursed through the Wet maatschappelijke ondersteuning (Dutch Social Support Act) or the Jeugdwet (Dutch Youth Act).
