About Brabant at Work

Brabant at Work is a small organisation for return-to-work programmes, with locations for appointments in Helmond, Uden and Eindhoven. The organisation supports people in finding and keeping paid work.

Return to work

The organisation runs programmes commissioned by UWV (Dutch Employee Insurance Agency), municipalities and businesses. Support is personal and results-focused, and centres on people’s abilities and suitable work.

Approach

A programme consists of four phases. It starts with a no-obligation introductory meeting; if both parties feel it is a good fit, the client and coach draw up a return-to-work plan together.

Job coaching

Job coaches support people who are entitled to a job coach service, with the aim of helping them keep their jobs. They draw up a plan with the employer covering skills and tools; support can include working alongside the person or targeted training.

Experience and qualifications

The organisation has experience with various groups. The job coaches have completed the Post HBO opleiding Jobcoach IVB (postgraduate higher professional education Job Coach IVB) and IPS training.

Locations and reimbursement

Meetings preferably take place in the client’s familiar surroundings or at an appointment location in the region. A programme can be held at the client’s home if desired; the costs are fully reimbursed by the municipality or UWV.
