ROMI is a practice for psychological and body-oriented therapy in Groningen. The practice offers individual sessions and groups for women and new mothers, as well as mindfulness for students.

Services

ROMI offers body-oriented psychotherapy in individual sessions and organises groups. The moedercirkels (mother circles) are for new mothers; the groups are not therapy.

For women and new mothers

The sessions provide space to explore themes around the transition to motherhood. These may include emotions, relationships, intimacy, the changed body and experiences around pregnancy and childbirth.

Approach

A series of individual sessions offers space and support to slow down and explore what is arising in the body. The support helps you understand signals and make room for a new direction.

Moedercirkels (mother circles)

The moedercirkels combine meditation and gentle exercises with sharing experiences of motherhood. They take place in a relaxed setting with a small group of women and are led by Rinka de Jager and Romi Mol.

Practical information

An introductory conversation lasts 45 minutes and is free. A treatment session lasts 60 minutes; an invoice is issued afterwards and must be paid before the next session.
