Approach

After registration, the practice aims to schedule an appointment within a week. The first appointment consists of conversations, observation, assessment and standardised tests; the findings are then discussed and, if needed, a treatment plan follows.

• Children can be referred with or without a referral from a GP or specialist
• A referral is required for paediatric physiotherapy at home and for a chronic indication
• Treatment may focus on learning or maintaining skills, recovery, building confidence or falling less often

Location and cooperation

Children aged 0 to 2 are assessed and treated at home. Children aged 2 to 18 come to the practice; treatment at home can be arranged by agreement for children who cannot come to the practice. The practice is located in Noorderbad and works with Fysiotherapie Noorderbad and Podotherapie H&L.
