Approach

After a telephone registration, there is an introductory meeting. This may be followed by intake sessions, a treatment plan and an advice meeting; treatment starts if the client agrees to the proposal.

Reimbursement

A referral from a GP is required for insured psychological care. The basic health insurance reimburses insured care; the statutory excess applies. The client pays for non-insured care.

Practical information

If an appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours beforehand, the session fee will be charged. A referral letter, insurance details, identification and BSN (Dutch citizen service number) are required for the first session.
